Wessex Salt Spreaders

Ideal for spreading dried salt on roadways and car parks etc, the Wessex trailed spinning disc spreaders are available in two sizes. The 250 litre capacity S30 has an adjustable drawbar with either a towing eye or ball hitch, and can be towed behind an ATV, truck or industrial fork lift truck etc. It is fitted with a road lighting kit as standard. Drive is transmitted to the disc via on oil filled bevel gearbox which can be disengaged when travelling significant distances whilst not spreading.
The S15 has a capacity of 150 litres and is suited to the likes of a ATV or multi purpose vehicle. The application rate can be varied by altering the amount of material falling on to the disc, whilst the adjustable spread limiter alters the spread width from 6m to 2m for working on paths etc. The spread limiter is also galvanised for maximum resistance to corrosion.
