Kawasaki's mid-range Mule, the 3000, has a manual-tipping cargo bed and combines speed with enhanced strength for more demanding situations. Its reliable 617cc V-twin 4-stroke engine - liquid cooled for increased efficiency - is complemented by a continuously variable transmission which provides quite exceptional traction through the two drive wheels.

With the engine operating around its peak torque as the gearing adjusts to the correct ratio, hill starts can be made without wheel-spin and fuel economy is maximised. Fully independent, Mac-Pherson strut style suspension at the front with a De Dion axle supported on semi-elliptical leaf springs at the rear assure excellent ride characteristics.

Low pressure, wide section tyres also contribute towards ride comfort, whilst protecting the ground. In all, the Kawasaki Mule 3000 is a most competent Jack-of-all-trades, possessing an inner strength that helps you work with even greater dexterity.
