Kawasaki's Mule 550 is the entry level machine - a cost-effective compact tool for lighter duties but with heavyweight features incorporated from its larger brethren. Those features include a Dual Mode differential
rear axle, automatic torque-sensitive transmission and electric start, plus rack and pinion steering.

With a bench style seat and unobstructed floor space, mounting and dismounting is quick and easy, whilst at 1.29 metres wide with a minimal 3.2 metre turning circle, the Mule 550 can be driven around the most restrictive areas. Small and light-weight, the 550 can easily be towed on a trailer behind a car or carried on the cargo bed of a pick-up.

Great to drive, easy to work with, whatever its task the Mule 550 is sure to come out fighting. Power comes from a smooth, economical single cylinder 4-stroke 286cc engine. More than enough to keep two people and a 160kg cargo on the move. Add an optional tow bar plus trailer and your load capacity rises by a further 410kg.
